Good afternoon and happy Friday! I wanted to get a quick update out before we head into the weekend. Rates recently relaxed and even briefly dipped below the 7% level! I’m seeing this bring benefits to buyers in terms of increased buying power but it’s also bringing more buyers back into the marketplace. One of my lender partners indicated that the $900k-$1.2MM price range in the Seattle & Eastside markets is super competitive currently.
If you’re gearing up for a purchase it’s going to help you to get pre-approved early and know your numbers. Aligning with an agent and lender who have the experience to set you up for success and help you navigate the current marketplace is significantly more critical now than it has been the last several months.
